This course establishes and provides a review of foundational stroke care, assessment, priority nursing intervention, and evidence-based best practices to improve patient outcomes following stroke. A focus is made on using case studies to integrate and apply anatomy, physiology, assessment, and intervention to the complex care of individuals after ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
